15.25" x 10" image area. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Original Ghost Rider #8 Page 28 (page 1 of 4 from the complete store WHO IS... PHANTOM RIDER) (Marvel Comics, 1993). Dick Ayers. Part of a complete 4-page story penciled and inked by Phantom Rider's original creator.

Beautiful opening page with cool effects depicting the Phantom Rider disappearing in a rain storm.

Well I ain't no detective but if I hear a whistle and the "invisible" guys horse runs up then I would be mighty suspicious. Mighty suspicious.

Ayers is something of an unsung hero at times of Marvel's Silver Age.  His work, such as this, was always top quality.

Thanks Michael.  I agree!  The art here looks the same as if it were from decades ago!  I'm glad to have gotten this story where no one but Ayers touched it!
