Description

Street Fighter Guile and Mutant Production Cel and Animation Drawing Group of 10 (InVision Entertainment, c. 1995-97). Guile, one of the most emblematic characters from the Street Fighter franchise, is featured in this lot, trying his best to control his opponent. Featuring many of the characters from the fighting video game and loosely based on the live-action movie of the same name, the animated series Street Fighter featured the adventures of the Street Fighters, an organization founded by Colonel Willian F. Guile created to fighter the forces of Shadaloo. This lot features an excellent fighting sequence between Guile and one of the mutants created by the Shadaloo scientist Quinn. Consisting of five animation drawings and five hand-painted production cels, the lot showcases the character in the middle of their fight. The cels and drawings are numbered A1 through A5, and it has the characters measuring an image size from 8" x 5.5" to 7.25" x 6" on the 12 field sized production cel and animation paper. The drawings are rendered in graphite with colored pencils details and shading. Overall, the cels show some very light wear on the linework and paint, and the animation drawings have some paint from the production cel, and a minor fold on the left edge of cel A5. The cels and drawings have some handling and edge wear from production, and overall they are in Very Good condition.
