This guy had skills! You forgot to add that he could draw and smoke at the same time. Multi tasking in the early twentieth century.
I think he could also hold a cup(black coffee) and saucer with his teeth!
I think Frank Frazetta tried and failed at that trick, based on all the funny stains on his artwork. I hope they are coffee stains.
There needs to be a book done on Dan Smith.
