Description

Dave Aikins's work is across the board spectacular. I tried getting on his list years ago but it fell through. Now that I'm part of several different art collecting groups, the opportunity came up and I jumped on it. But which Mad Hatter should I ask for? Dave does realistic renderings of real people and there were a few live-action Hatters I could choose from. Martin Short, Anthony Newley, Johnny Depp...but really, the classiest was Peter Cook. Dave scouted around for a great reference photo and this worked out so well. Love the soft details and the likeness!

Dave does not disappoint when he does a piece! The textures on the hat alone are stunning.
