James Harren - B.P.R.D. #118 p 17

This wonderful page from the Hellboy Mignolaverse oozes Harren. So much texture and technique, but the way he rendered the rain is the standout here - just look at those concentric drops in the puddles and the splashes around their heads. I’m also in awe of the fourth panel, where there is a ton of emotion and expression without even a face.

Definitely has Harren's mastery to create atmosphere through background brush inks with clouds and rain for a more dramatic effect. The characters are all together, but their body language says otherwise.

No need for dialogue to tell us how a character feels when Harren can show it like that.
