DescriptionDecember 1973, Fantastic Four #141, Page #10, John Buscema pencils/Joe Sinnott inks, “The End of the Fantastic Four”,A stellar page featuring the Thing and the Human Torch fighting Annihilus, the Ruler of the Negative Zone. Annihilus is one of the strongest villains the FF has ever faced. Big John drew the action on three double panels in order to capture the full fury of the battle between Annihilus, the Thing and the Human Torch. Also featured is Mister Fantastic and Medusa, who were disposed of earlier by Annihilus. Reed’s marriage is on the rocks so Medusa joined the FF alongside Reed. Annihilus has Sue, Agatha Harkness, and young Franklin Richard as his hostages. A priceless pure nostalgia page along with incredible art by Buscema/Sinnott, written by Gerry Conway. It can’t get better than this, can it? Social/Sharing |

Superb FF page Nick! The amazing art and classic storytelling from this era are what really defined what comics mean to me. Gems like this filled me with awe as a kid and still do! Congrats my friend!

Awesome battle page, I love how dense it is--Buscema and Sinnott packed so much into this page, it gives you a ton to look at. Congrats!

Makes great use of the wide panels as action and impact swings back and forth! They made Ben the jobber here to show Annihilus' power level! Informing us that the FF will need to work together to take this beast down!

Brilliant drama! Annihilus always has a real air of menace. The opening panel, with the Thing being clobbered right out of the page, is a real treat. Fabulous artwork.
