Edwin Georgi ~ Unwelcomed Daughter-in-Law

I am very pleased to add this gorgeous art to my collection. I had to sell off a lot of things in order to acquire this piece. Again I hope it’s appropriate to add illustration art up here on CAF. I picked this up from the very nice Fred Taraba. He was extremely patient with me. He has a couple other Georgi’s right now that are also awesome if you want to hit him up. I hope you are able to see all the color in this piece. You know Georgi is known for his color. I’ve always wanted one of his extremely colorful pieces but this one still checks all the boxes for me. I took a picture with the sunset light hitting the image and I liked that well enough to upload but I’ve also included the Heritage scan to look at as well. This image is included in the Georgi art book on page 132. It originally appeared in the Saturday Evening Post in March of 1953. Please enjoy! Signed!
