The kind of art you can hang and your family or friends would never know it was fromma comic.  

The depth Perkins is able to achieve is amazing!  The style and method to achieve this look has been perfected.  The storytelling is amazing as well showing the passage of time before, after, and now.

Love all the shadow work in the foreground. Great piece!

The pleasure is mine, Rick! A perfectly set mood here, which seems innocent enough and even quiet, until you realize that by the time you've reached the second panel, an atomic bomb has gone off! Oh, and just for thoise of you who aren't history buffs, the actions taking place here on this page DID happen in real life, but writer Ram V used the event as a way to introduce Trinity as a character, named after the code name for the first detonation of a nuclear weapon on July 16th 1945 in the New Mexico desert.

The top and bottom panels would work as landscape pieces on their own.  Perkins is outstanding.

Fantastic landscapes, as lush as the New Mexico desert has ever seen.  Mike Perkins is not only working at a new level with 'The Swamp Thing', but is sort of rewriting the game, isn't he?  Astonishingly executed vistas here, showing off his narrative and illustrative mastery.  Gorgeous ART.  Beautiful pick up, Rick - congrats!
