Great page layout, and love the different inking techniques. Congrats!
Perkins' artwork is extraordinary and perfectly suited for Swamp Thing. Congratulations on a fantastic page!
Please don't look at me that way, with your Swamp Thing eyes. beaut of page, Marcus.
Beautiful page. And very nice of you giving Ruben a plug! CAF should build a statue for Marcus the great!
Swampy's eyes are cryin'
Swampy's eyes have seen a lot of loves
But they're never gonna see another one like he had with you

love that first panel. then it explodes into a smaller swamp thing among the back drop splash of the green(to show his connection to it) very mood setting. then that lst panel with a close up of his eyes. for a entity that is made up of the earth, it shows he still is connected to humanity by the eyes,
We all collect comic "art", but there are some artists, books, or runs that even non-comic people can look at and see art. Perkins on Swamp thing is one of those occasions.
The inkwash background is perfect!
Oh dude these are some awesome shots! Love the last closeup
Absolute Beauty! You have a keen eye for great art bud!
Awesome page! The colorist also did a great job, but Perkins' pen and ink work would deserve an Artist's Edition.
I'm reminded of the very best of World of Darkness (Vampire: The Masquerade art). Blend of techniques for maximum pathos...
The Return of the Swamp Thing indeed.....Love the "classism" horror in this piece. Truly beautiful and horrific!
That wash creates a lot of depth. Beauty!
Incredible page! Excellent detail work here.
Amazing panel composition and black spotting. Wow whatta page! Looks like Brooklyn Heights or DUMBO in panel 4. Love the hairy eyeball in the last panel. I don't have your gift for lyrics so this will have to suffice.
Fabulous example from this spectacular series! Love the symmetry of the page, the amazing inks, the environments, the poses, and the closeups of our verdant hero
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and you beholden a beauty!
That smaller panel with the close up on the eyes...just pulls you in. Really nice. Congrats!
Mind blowing page. Congrats Marcus!
Look, you don't need me to tell you this is one of the nicest pages of the series, but....this is one of the nices pages in the series! When you step back and look at it as a thumbnail, you can still clearly see the 5 main panels pop in the foreground against that fully washed background and it is spectacular!
All of these panels are money!!! I love the use of wash. Perkins is a beast!
This is a wonderful page. Many congratulations! Mike Perkins's artwork is superb and simply ideal for this particular series.
A masterpiece!
Fascinating Swamp Thing page! Love the contrast between the overall background and the dark, shadow-laden foreground panels. Perkins did an amazing job here. Has the Swamp Thing ever looked more mysterious?
Perkins ink and wash work is so strong on this page - love it! Congrats!
Hey Master Marcus,
Another nice pickup. You have a sharp eye for quality artwork, my CAF brother!
Gorgeous page from an incredible run. Mike Perkins has elevated his work to a higher plane with this series. Every issue just has absoultely stunning page. Congratulations on such a stellar example.
Amazing Swamp Thing page with incredible craftsmanship by Perkins, congrats Marcus!
I love the tonal wash underpinning the whole piece. Classic Swamp Thing motif of him carrying the unconscious character in panel two.
The detail, design and look of Perkins Swamp Thing is absolutely divine. Gorgeous shaded art that is picture perfect. Great find!
Wow!!!
Merece estar en un museo.
It's all in the eyes. I can't think of any comic book artist off the top of my head who can do eyes quite like this.
this one's a stunner! from a modern classic in the making. awesome page
A high quality example from the run! Congrats!!!
Vecna! Get away from Max!! Bad Upside Down Monster, BAD! Oh wait, that's Swamp Thing. Very cool page, man. I have enjoyed every Mike Perkins Swamp Thing page that I've seen posted on CAF, and this one is especially awesome. And yeah, the way Mike draws those eyes... Amazing.
Absolute stunner. A great get. Congrats, sir
A beauty - the composition, the wash effects and of course the monster´s eyes.
mp is like the 2nd coming of bw; grats on the get, Marcus

Absolutely jaw-dropping page, Marcus! Without querstion, this qualifies as one of those rare "if you could only get one page from the run..." pages. Not only is the whole thing a beautifully constructed love letter to Berni and all the other greats that have come before (nestled on top of an inkwash foundation that is worth the price of admission by itself), but just like the natural variety you'd find in wetlands flora, there is pen, ink, inkwash, pencil... incredible. A page for the sages from a run for the ages, Marcus. Boffer of a pick up, good sir - sincere congrats!
Shades of Saga...outstanding page Marcus!!!
Perkins has the uncanny ability to ink in the negative, creating magical photo-realism that is so unique, you know it's Perkins. That is the ultimate achievement of any artist.
Solid!
Emotive page, no doubt, with such a sense of atmosphere. That contrast between the characters/panels vs the background...sublime stuff. Congrats!
Wonderful page with haunting details of our Hero.
That's flat out incredible! Huge congrats!
Look at the bottom of that splash. The haunt of those eyes pierce right through the soul. Just an incredible looking piece. Perkins knocked this out of the park.
Great page - love pages with Swamp Thing eye closeups!
Amazing
Amazing art page from this great British Artist who obviously put his full energy and knowing of great Swampy stories into that eerie page, huge congtras ! Stunning piece !
