Description
I've had this page for quite a while. I picked it up a couple years ago on Ebay. I think it just goes very wonderfully with my other pages from the issue. In this page our hero Jake is beset upon by the dastardly Magnum Khaos in a last ditch effort by the story's villain to get Jake to call off the fight. Where Magnum Khaos had previously tried to riddle Jake with feelings of overwhelming negativity, in this attempt he tries to convince our hero to live a better life away from the fight where he will be "cured" of his ills.

The story of the issue culminates with Jake redoubling his resolve, where he finally removes his wig and states "I fear no more" as he goes full circle and begins thrashing away on his guitar. Thus giving Murf the power he needs to go all flying samurai as Brooticus helps humanity win a pivotal battle against doubt and fear in Japan.

Great mix of action and emotion with this page Keith. I think it will find itself right at home amongst the others :)

Great cartooning in the last 3 panels. Super combo of framing and panel size to extend time and create a mood.

And such a great contrast from the top 3/4 of the page. Wonderful story telling on this page!

Fabulous MF page!  I was clearly not monitering eBay closely enough...  9 panels and they're each compelling.  Love the atmospherics and psychodrama.  DWJ is so good at conveying the inner lives of his characters and clearly indicating their points of view with scene changes and close-ups.

Fabulous Murder Falcon page! Daniel Warren Johnson really shows his mastery on every page he draws. This one has a combination of emotion and action that really builds to the final panels. DWJ really knows how to get inside his characters and depict their emotions right on the page. Really, when it comes to storytelling, nobody does it better.
