DescriptionI love the Barney Google strips most when DeBeck really let the ink fly with a wonderfully active sketch approach. That's what I love about this daily from February 4, 1931. The pen work on the figures is just wonderful, but that second panel really grabs me, especially where DeBeck razored through the dark shadows behind Elisha. Simply beautiful stuff by one of the masters.Social/Sharing |
