First Chapter, first panel... of a fantastic realistic story.
For the published book "Purple and Gold" it was changed - the picture got a different perspective.
...
It reminds me a little bit of Monty Python's Life of Brian ;-)

Puts you immediately into that place in history for the story to begin with less exposition. Very effective illustrative look.
