Description
A really great image of the classic Michael Keaton Batman leaping out of the cover - I thought that Joe did a really great job on this series on capturing the look and feel of the movies. It was definitely interesting to see some of the ideas that they came up with.

The black and whites here really highlight the detail that Joe was able to put into the main Bats figure but also on the background cityscape - details that were more brushed over with the digital coloring and effects on the published image.

This piece was laid out digitally/digital blue lines and then inked by Joe.

This brings back memories of all the hype in 1989!  For something he knew was going to be finished digitally, Quinones really made this look fully complete as is.

Love that the face is unmistakably Keaton, and that rendering in the suit and cape is nuts!  Really pops against the background, too.  Congrats!

Awesome! The utilty belt alone hits big notes of nostalgia. Shout out to Kim Basinger!

Nice.  Batman always seemed a bit of a Leather Guy to me.
