Unpublished Howard Chaykin preliminary piece - 'Madonna'

Evidently, a very early work by Chaykin, circa 1971. Possibly created for 'Imagination' magazine, possibly for another semi-pro magazine of the day.

Howard Chaykin "Madonna" Science Fiction Story Page 4 Preliminary Original Art (c. 1960s). This partially finished page is identified on the back as an "early try-out page for DC". However, the image area of this page measures 9.875" x 12.875". Whereas standard comic book pages are 10" x 15'. The page was created in graphite and partial inks on Bristol board. Toned, with some graphite smudging. In Very Good condition.
