I've always loved Gray Morrow's comic book work. I've always been partial to more illustrative styles so perhaps that's why. I've never seen the Supergirl movie as it never felt like it was going to be any good and quite frankly, my teenage self did not not find Helen Slater attractive, so I wasn't even willing to watch it for the (supposed) babe. Credit where it's due though, I quite enjoyed her as Kara's mother in the recent Supergirl television series.
p.s.Be sure to rescan the last page splash so I can actually see the line art and post a comment. 😃
To dream the Kryptonian dream
To fight the Faye Dunaway foe
To there with the city of Argo
And to run from Rotten Tomatoes
To write the unwritable song
And to love pure and chaste from Kara
To try when you're too old for Jimmy
To reach the Peter O'Toole Zaltar
This is my quest
To follow the star
My Supergirl goddess
No matter how far
To fight for the right
To go party because
To be willing to march, march into Hell
Omegahedron cause
And I know if Gray Morrow be true
To this Supergirl quest
That my splash will lie peaceful and calm
When this layout is best
And the page with Gray Morrow for this
That one man, drawn the comic book art
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the Kryptonian art
Last week I finished my intial viewing of the Supergirl movie and this is page perfect from the movie first scenes. Congrats on another home run.
