DescriptionWhen I was growing up, Darkwing Duck was the thing for me. I liked Batman comics but I loved Darkwing's show more than Batman's (I'll admit it here publicly). So when I was pointed to Darkwing's creator, Tad Stones, selling some original pieces, I broke with the Mad Hatter mold and went for this nice piece. I only wish it had scanned better! The piece is slightly larger than my scanner so I couldn't close the lid, giving me this slightly blurred scan. Still, I think it's great to have a Darkwing (and Launchpad!) piece by his creator!Social/Sharing |

I like the compact pose of Darkwing in constrast to the broad and bold Launchpad. Each duck takes flight in their own way.
