DescriptionOriginally intended to run in Flash Comics 112 (cancelled after issue 104), this is an unpublished Golden Age Black Canary story. In the 1970's, it was published in Adventure Comics 399. According to Carmine Infantino's Wikipedia page, his first work for DC was the Black Canary intro story in the Johnny Thunder feature. At the time, this was easily my most expensive original art purchase. Thanks, Mitch !! The page was cut in 2 under the top panel. Thanks, Len, Marv (or whoever) for saving this page. Black Canary was created by Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino. Social/Sharing |
