This cover immediately caught my attention when solicited. I love the humanity in it. Something about the unmasked trooper, but also in his sorry or regret, or exhaustion, it can be read as anyone or all of these things and tells such a human story in such a powerful image!

That's Poe Damron's mom, a rebel stuck on a Star Destroyer, trying to avoid capture by blending in with scavenged bits of trooper gear. But all the human emotion you reference is indeed captured in that piece. Nice pick up!

His run of covers are so great! Pagulayan runs the gamut of emotions and this one has a more personal feel.

This is a beauty. I'm openly one of Carlo's biggest fans so always a treat to see his art. He really captures the humanity here.
