DescriptionI've been chasing a Rocketeer from Art for 9-10 years now. Timing and convention lists just never seem to work out. Flash forward to the pandemic and an at home list opening up in lieu of a convention appearance and low and behold the stars aligned.I really didn't expect to make the list - time and circumstance told me it was a slim to no chance. Litterally sitting at a red light in traffic I decided to through my name in the hat, hitting send as the light turned green and I get an angry horn. Best decision I made that day! To say I am elated with this piece would be underselling how happy I am to click this one off the bucket list! Thank you, thank you, thank you Art! Social/Sharing |

I've been collectng for a whie and the one thing I don't have that I really want is a nice Dave Stevens piece. But if I had this in my collection, I almost wouldn't care. Just a great piece by Arthur and a wondeful tribute to Dave. Congratulations!

I'm in the same boat. Clicking a really nice Dave Stevens piece off the bucket list would be wonderful. This one certainly is a beautiful tribute to Dave's creation though

Love how it's a headshot/bust piece, be he still snuck in enough of the pack and Mauser so you know they're there. Congrats!

It's these little things that are the sign of a master of the craft. You could get away with the helmet, but to truly honor Dave's creation you need to Rocket and Pistol. Plus he wen't with Dave's Rocket and not the movie Rocket!

Gorgreous Arthur Adams' piece. The Rocketeer is the perfect subject for Arthur's style. Beautifully drawn and perfectly inked! Congrats!

Love this piece! I also managed to get one of the 10 spots and got a commission after chasing one for 15 years.
