Nice early page with really strong content! By the way, I think in this series the names was spelled with two Es, like Reuben Flagg.
Nice duo tone! It shows Chaykin was using old school methods to make them new in comics. Now he goes the other way and pieces drawings together to craft a page. Reubergers DaFlagg (5 yard penalty for spelling) is one of my favorite characters in all the hobby.
He likes me, he really likes me! I always knew I was one of your favourites! I HAVE been referred to as quite a character, at that. 😃
