Description

Published 1987.
Tyr first appeared in Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes #197 wriiten by Cary Bates and drawn by Dave Cockrum.
His name comes from Tyr, the Norse god of war and bloodshed, also renowned as a bringer of order and justice. He was best known for sacrificing his arm to Fenrir so that the gods could trap the giant wolf.
