Love the different perspectives here, as we see Cobra Sun making a signature heel entrance to the ring. I like that the page captures his entire entrance and the ring of the bell is the final panel. Excellent page Keith!
Thanks Tyler! I've definitely been enjoying the hell out of it! Interestingly he didnt erase the pencils from the bell... might be hard to see in the pic, but it's fun haivng the artifact there... love those little quirks!
I'm a sucker for an inky page and this one is just fantastic. Every single panel. Congrats!
BIG TIME sucker for it too!
Such an awesome pick up Keith, especially with the big surprise! Gotta love the heels monologue and entrance and Dan captured it to perfection here! Huge congrats!
He really did! Thanks Victor!
Banger of a page, Keith. Congrats.
Awesome DWJ page.
God, this is good! Really affecting, moody page with perfectly spotted blacks and lots of atmosphere. DWJ nailed the posture of the bulked up heel and the tilted camera work at the bottom adds a lot to the drama and tension. Great finish with the bell. I'm still bummed I couldn't participate in this drop, but good on DWJ and Felix for giving us all a second chance on this terrific series
Thank you sir! I really like it a lot too! I took it with me to the fantasy art exhibit we went and saw the other week, and had a lot of fun having it propped up on display in my hotel room. Like some sort of fancy art collector 😂
Sockamagee!
Lol I had to look this up! 😂
Such a killer page! Congrats Keith!
Great page from a great book! Congrats!!
Wow! Love this page from Daniel Warren Johnson's Do a Powerbomb! Great opening panel with the long shot of the entire ring and then changing perespective to show the entrance and the opening speech, then ending with the ring of the bell! This one page is as powerful as the intro to a movie! Love the use of heavy blacks here, it really makes the art pop! Great pick-up Kevin!
