That third panel looking up in despair is awesome storytelling.

yeah the way he cascades the whole page is fantastic. The set up for that last desperate look up is the clincher of the page for sure.

Thanks! I was surprised to see Splash page still had this page for sale all these years after the book came out. And agreed the pencils were a nice surprise and I might actually like them more!

Amazing Hellboy page by the incredible Duncan Fegredo! Love that wide shot in the first panel that sets the sceme! Then Fegredo moves in closerr and closer with each panel until...What terrific visual storytelling!
