This page shows how Max Allan Collins and Terry Beatty didn't shy away from the seamier side of Private Eye work. Ms. Tree's operative Dan has to act as a body guard to a porn star. Ms. Tree was extraordinary in that it frequently dealt with controversial political and sexual issues, yet never used that as a venue to push a particular biased opinion.
