Description

I know the painted covers are firmly ensconced in another collection (with magnificent framing to boot)

But I'm not upset to have to "settle" for these two prelims by Jim Starlin, done in watercolors on regular paper (around 8"x12").

You can see Starlin made some small changes when he migrated to the paintings, but these are still pretty spectacular images (albeit smaller in size).

Here, Thanos begins his collecting of the Infinity Stones by defeating the cosmic In-Betweener and two Elders of the Universe, Champion and The Gardener.
