Description
I used to own 4 of the six drawings made to produce publicity stills for the short cartoon, Self Control which involves A wood pecker who torments Donald as he attempts to relax outside. I kept the one which I liked the most. This is one of the drawings which I sold decades ago. When it recently showed up at auction, I decided to buy it again.

Shows an exuberance by the artist to make Donald a punching bag.  It is crafted with such care in how smooth and precise the  curves of his face express the annoyance and rumbling high stress levels.
