Cap/Wolverine #1 p.1

For a Travis Charest fan like me, this is about as close to seeing a unicorn as you ever get...the stuff of legend.

Since 2010, Travis has talked about a secret project he was working on for Marvel starring Capt. America and Wolverine set in the early days of WW II. These are the first three pages from that yet to be published story and the only ones the artist rendered on physical board. After p.3 he switched to digital.

As of this year, I'm told Travis is still about eight pages from completion. As what happened with the long delayed "Metabaron" GN, it appears to have become a labor of love for the artist and a fish dead in the water for the publisher.

Don't know whether the finished work will ever see print at this point. We can only hope that SOMEDAY...
