We all know Ryan does killer work! Clean lines and dynamic energy. I enjoyed his time on ASM.
My first thought was the composition reminded me of asm 39 from the original run. Not identical..but reminiscent. Congrats P!
Nice nab! Ottley was a great choice for ASM and this cover is a fantastic example. I really like Spidey's multitasking here, just so much fun!
Absolutely superb! Chance will always have a spot in my heart!
Oh yeah, baby, take a chance on a ....CHANCE?!? So FUN! Incredibly dynamic cover, too. It's amazing that many of us still remember a character like Chance, who debuted almost 4 decades ago and then disappeared for several decades. Just goes to show how fun and memorable the 1980's were for the then quickly growing hobby due to the direct market!
Ottley's Spider-Man belongs
Jonah's podcast going on
I couldn't get my news today
Words just vanished in a phrase
Spidey spinning webs desired
Yeah, Ottley's rad and all inspired
Then I love the art too much
I will embrace and sense the grace
And feel the cool ink in your brush
Oh, here's your Chance
Take your Chance Ottley
Display your Chance (woo hoo)
Oh, face your Chance
Display your Chance Ottley
This one also reminds me of ASM #298 and #299! Ryan Ottley absolutely did a real great job during his run on Spidey's flagship title.
Awesome battle cover!!!
JJJ, first and foremost a top reporter as seen by how cool he is in the midst of battle.
Always fun to see a cover with JJJ on it. Nice homage to Todd's ASM #398 & 399 covers, but even better for me with Spidey in his traditional red and blue (instead of the black suit).
Killer Cover Mentor! Ottley's Spidey is da bomb lol!
Loving triple J's 'get the interview at all costs' attitude. Great cover!
Such a great image with an intense VS while Jameson nonchalantly interviews away. Great pickup!
Ha ha, yes, definitely takes me back to ASM 298 and 299! And still a killer piece of art in its own right. Great depth AND energy! Congrats!
Wow! Wow! Wowzers! lots of action, great Spidey pickup!
