DescriptionA few years back I'd commissioned Dave to draw a Kirby Space Beast, but somewhere along the way, he thought he was doing something else, and instead drew his own monster..pleading with the viewer to 'pweve wuv me'...upon seeing it and wondering what happened, he added in a tiny Space Beast peaking out from behind the main character. It's a funny as heck piece in hindsight.A few commissions later, this year at NYCC, I decided to ask him for the Space Beast again..and this time he got it right, lol! He even added another Space Beast in the circle (they all wear different armor, but the main horned helmet guy is my favorite), the spaceship blasting off and the ASTONISH logo in the background (evoking the Tales To Astonish 29 cover where it all came from). Super cool..Dave can do no wrong! 11x14 on drawing paper. Social/Sharing |
