Acrylic on canvas. 48" x 35" Signed and dated 1989. (The year I graduated high school!) Built and constructed while at Mirage Editions, exactly like Nagel canvases. Only two artists like this.

The Deborah Driggs canvas was one of a very few featured in Mukai's rare 4 page artist portfolio showcasing Mukai's work in February 1990 issue of Playboy Magazine. Pamela Anderson was Playmate of the Month for February. (Very rare for Playboy to do).

Model and muse Deborah Driggs was featured three months in a row in 1990. The Mukai canvas in February the March cover, one of the most collectable issues with future President Donald Trump in which she was also Playmate of the Month, and she featured the cover for April. What a year!

It is safe to say Hefner loved Dennis Mukai and Deborah. I do too since I was a teenager. But how many artists got a featured four page spread about their art?
