Description
The reason why I present the color guide separately is that it is entirely original art, not a hand-colored stat. In the first few years of the Wizard of Id's run Parker would make fast copies of his Sundays in ink on a transparent overlay and color in the various areas for the engraver. He explained his creative process in Cartoonist Profiles #9 (Feb. 1971), p. 69.
