Supergirl Prelim 05

Good evening Champions. Here we have another update on Supergirl Cosplay portrait. This week I decided to focus on the Kara Danvers side of the sketch. The flesh tones were already partially laid down, so I focused on the hair and wardrobe to an extent. For her top, I used Cool Gray 1, 3, 5, and 9, with Prismacolor Cool Gray 70% Verithin. What I like is the watercolor appearance I achieved on the front of the top. For her hair, I used Y11, Y13, Y28, Verithin Black and Dark Brown. What makes this part of the sketch challenging is lack of graphic ink pens for linework. I made that decision to distinguish it from the costumed figure in the center. More as it develops.
