Malina’s Jam sketch by Svetla Radivoeva, Pasadena 2022

Svetla Radivoeva was set up at Lightbox Expo. I bought her contribution to the Secret Art Show in 2014. My friend John bought me a ticket and gave me a ride to this charity event by the Burbank Arts for All Foundation to raise money to support arts education in local public schools. I only learned the artist’s identity after purchase. Svetla is a character animator at Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios with credits on Wreck it Ralph, Frozen, and Big Hero 6. I finally met her last Sunday and bought her book Malinda’s Jam.
