DescriptionTom Yeates is one of my favorite artists ever, he is a modern master, and I'm SO happy to add his art to my gallery.Yeates art has graced characters as varied as Swamp Thing, Zorro, Tarzan and so many others. He is now the acclaimed artist for possibly the greatest comic strip of all time... Prince Valiant. This half-splash of Thor, also featuring the Recorder, the Midgard Serpent, and Fenris is just so beautiful... I hope the scan really captures it well. This is taking the Prince Valiant illustrative style back to comic fantasy in Thor. It has that inking that lends itself to scenes and characters that are very expressive of emotions through poses and faces.
