Description
This is a piece I had doubts I'd ever see happen or possess. To Michael's credit, he created a wonderful piece and it has finally made it to me. This all started with a Kickstarter just shy of 10 years ago, early 2013. One of the rewards was a sketch by Michael. I had met him several times and he is a great guy and a uniquely talented artist. I enjoyed the conversations we had and I had 3 previous commissions from him. I was happy to support his project and happy to get on his sketch list. There were a number of set backs with the entire project but the final book arrived several years ago and looked great. I followed up several times and then on a semi-annual basis regarding the sketch. I had seen an image of the commissions so i knew it was done around 2018 or 2019 but it took some time to ship. After almost a decade, this was waiting on my doorstep when I returned from Italy yesterday. Happy to have it in hand.

Patience is a virue (or however it goes). Painful wait no doubt but worth it!

Always glad to hear when a long wait for a piece finally comes to a happy close.  Congrats!

To be honest, I wouldn't know how to emotionally approach such a long wait. I hope that all that's left for you is the positive reaction to a great piece of art.

(Also seems like there must be 3 years long wait lines in front of the post office where Mike lives ,)
