Description

The West Coast Avengers have their first "crisis" as Wonder Man is fired-up about finding The Blank. An early page featuring the newly formed Avengers team -- but what makes this piece interesting is a loose rendering of Wonder Man on the back, showing off his new costume design that wouldn't appear in print until five months later in Avengers #253, which was also drawn by Hall. This is possibly the first concept drawing of the costume Wonder Man would wear in the WCA regular series and become one of his most familiar outfits.

Great stuff with lotsa team members featured! My first WCA issue was actually #2 of the ongoing so I of course had to see what happened in the limited :) Congrats!

Everyone bought this mini! A great jumping on point for new fans since there hadn't been a number one issue of Avengers since the original. This is particualrly cool with all of the team having some input and their personality clashes.
