Description

I really haven't read much of The Crow beyond James' original issues. But when this series came out - shortly after the movie hit it big - I was eager to have more stories.

The series, based on a story by O'Barr, fell kind of flat. The script, by another writer, lacked the personal touch of the original and tried to do too much in too few pages.

But it was relative newcomer Alex Maleev that really caught my eye. His art was frantic and captured the confusion and pain of our new Crow so very well.

Several pages from this series have come up for sale in the last year. I've bid on them all, but was never willing to go as high as others. Thankfully, I spotted this splash on eBay (yes, you can still find things on eBay) and got it for a song.
