Description
I always wanted some Nicola Scott art and had never gotten around to it. I saw this sketch up for sale at Comic Art Live Fall 2021 and picked it up.

This is early in Nicola Scott's career while working on Image, Star Wars, and IDW right before DC work.  A definite talent on the rise.  I remember trying to buy a page of a book that first came out and was told by Royd B to ask for pages before books come out.  First instance I heard of that.  Great looking Elektra done with marker shading that is particularly nice.

I'd think it would be difficult to ask for pages before the book came out.

It happens all the time now.  This was when they began to show covers and preview pages online.

I don't think they're supposed to post pages before the book comes out but I have been shown pages that were going to be coming out before they were published.  Of course, before I started collecting art, I remember the CBG's ads that just had an issue and page number with no picture at all.  I wish I'd bought some of those.
