Description

I have owned this cover art for a couple of years now and am still in awe of the intricate work. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to stare at it up close whenever the mood strikes me - which is still quite often, as I remain a *massive* fan of Brent Eric Anderson’s artwork. I taught myself to draw in part as a teen by copying Brent’s artwork from this series, and it still fuels my creativity to this day.

I love Brent's work! (And...for added fun...I see he used The Laocoön group sculpture as inspiration for this. That's a cool reference!)

It's soo good, right? His work is really inspiring to me, especially so from this series :)

And yes, he definitely used that Laocoön sculpture specifically for reference - he told me so himself back when I purchased this cover! (I didn't purchase the piece directly from him, but I was communicating with him at the time and shared that I had acquired it )
