X-Men The Animated Series (1992): Beast - AKOM Animation

These are really nice examples of Marvel animation art, all with great character images. This particular one shows off a lot of elements of the animation process - it's been 'repegged' and is a key pose in a dialog phrase. Because the animator likely speaks little or no English, the mouth shapes are pulled from a small library of shapes identified by letters. That is, I don't think these are phonemes/visemes, because there aren't enough vowels.
 

What's interesting is the timing chart seems to indicate that the dialog is animated on 'ones' (i.e., every frame) which would be unusual for TV animation, but it might be standard to hold every drawing for two frames, and just number the drawings sequentially.
