DescriptionFeaturing four short stories within a story, issue #30 celebrates the 40th anniversary of the New Mutants. These five pages (posted separately) spotlight Rahne Sinclair (Wolfsbane) and Warlock shadowing Doug Ramsey (Cypher) and some of the other team members, on what they think is Doug's birthday. They realize it is, in fact, a party celebrating the founding of the team. Warlock and Rahne realize the birthday gifts they had picked out are actually perfect for each other.Poggi inks over Kubert printed blue line pencils. Social/Sharing |

The best part of Claremont's New Mutants team is that they were friends then and they're still friends four decades later. This story wonderfully put that aspect on full display.

I wonder what dance moves Warlock would have on the dance floor. With hair like that I am sure he could cut a rug.

I've heard that it was said that if you leave a comment on one of Jeff's pieces, that he will randomly show up in your house. Possibly, even during a livestream. You have been warned ;)
