Description
22”x29” (framed 26”x33”) One in an apparent series of torn paper/open shirt drawings. I was able to find one other that was considerably smaller and not nearly as finished as this piece dated 1973. The original cardboard backing that came with the piece was signed by Whyte and titled “Study for Autumn,” but I am not able to identify a painting of his by that name or of this image.
