Description
Vaughn Bodé The Machines Story Page 2 Original Art (Syracuse University, 1967). Underground Comix pioneer Bodé became so famous for his duck-billed lizards, pneumatic nymphets, and nebulous wizard-types, that it is unusual to catch him drawing a recognizably human character. The Machines, a disaster epic, dates from his college-cartoonist days -- originally self-published with a Syracuse pedigree, and piloted in a semi-professional magazine called Trumpet.

Splendid use of grayscale felt markers on Bristol board. Image area, 20" x 12.75". Lightly toned and in Excellent condition.
