I think Tom Mandrake has done some great work for DC. I really think of him as one of the artists who captured the dark moody feel of Batman, and his reputation will only grow.

Having compared it to images on eBay of other anime (e.g., Totoro), I am now pretty sure this is a high quality reproduction and not an original. But it sure is cool.
