Artwork Details

Description19”x21” (frame 27”x29”) This was the first, original piece of artwork I ever bought. Done in the early 80s, I purchased it in 1988 from the Pendragon Gallery in Annapolis, MD. Originally done for the James Bond movie, Never Say Never Again, I don’t believe it was ever used. The girl and snake portion of the drawing is published on page 62 of the book, Boris Vallejo Fantasy Art Techniques, published by Arco, 1985.Social/Sharing |

Very nice throwback with the Dr. No elements to remind the audience of Connery's greatest 007 moments ahead of his final outing as James Bond.

In highschool, I had Boris's art book that had the woman wrapped in a snake. I never knew the story behind it. Thanks for sharing.
