Matter-Eater Lad by Nate Stockman and Simon Gough

I have been singing the praises of Nate Stockman for many years. The man is just unbeatable when it comes to commissions. For instance, here I only asked Nate to draw Matter-Eater Lad in his Ryan-Sook design, and Nate delivered�me this incredible madness! We've got Tenzil Kem rescuing Antennae Lad (in his Riley Rossmo design) from Kono and the Sklarian Raiders! And Nate threw in lots of details with the futuristic city, the spacecraft, and the damaged Sklarian craft that Tenzil just ate a hole through! Nate knows how to tell quite a story in one image, and I am continually impressed with his imagination and talent. I passed this on to the equally talented Simon Gough who proceeded�to make this piece even more gorgeous! The main characters look fantastic, but also check out that beautiful sky, the ships, and the city! HUGE thanks to Nate and Simon for absolutely killing it once again!

The color finishes are amazing by dropping some of the inks to have color instead giving us more layers of action in the final look!

Yes, Simon's color work is just outstanding. And I love having a color print to display with the original art.
