Description
I've been looking for a definitive John Buscema/Ernie Chan Conan page for a while. When this one popped up, I jumped on it. It was from early on in their collaboration on the character and is full of fantastic details and backgrounds. Plus, it comes from the fun original What If? series from Issue #13 asking "What if Conan walked the Earth Today?" (of course, at the time, "Today" meant the mid 1970's). Ernie signed it in one of the panels back in 1979.

Their collaboration in later years was a bit looser, and less detailed (although there are still some late gems). This one, which also features a scantily clad John Buscema seductress, is especially nice.

First panel is that macho handsome 70's Conan!  If you walked around in the 70's dessed like that, the ladies will be all over you and get you roofied up too!

My sweet spot for Conan 1976-1981. This What If? still to this day is one of my favorite stories. Can't trust the wenches in the taverns Conan hah hah!
