DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!10x13.75" thick artboard has mixed media original art by prolific and renowned Spanish comics cover artist Rafael López Espí. Cover is for El Motorista Fantasma (Ghost Rider) Vol. 2 #35, which reprints the Ghost Rider story from issue #14 plus some older horror stories. Published in Spain c. 1976 Mundi. Artboard has been hand-painted from edge to edge on three sides w/white title bar at top w/art showing a composition based on art from the US issue cover #14 by Ron Wilson featuring the Orb. Lt. aging/handling wear. Art remains bright and clean. Displays VF. A wonderful example from the era when Espí's art dominated covers of Spanish comic books, featuring one of Marvel's popular characters and is unsigned by artist. Superb and dynamic cover art and a collector must have. Comes w/reading copy of the Spanish comic this cover art was created for. Social/Sharing |
