DescriptionSIGNED & SKETCH BY ADAM KUBERT ON 10/22/22This Wolverine Remarque was drawn on Ultimate X-Men #1 Museum Edition (published by Panini Germany) by Adam Kubert during his October 2022 CGC In-house Signing. The red Posca paint pen Adam threw down as the base layer sure pops something crazy! He did this Remarque on a Germam Museum Edition of Ultimate X-Men #1 from 2001 Mine is hand-numbered 28/599 (in Pencil - they all were) on the lower front cover and also came with a COA from Panini Germany. I purchased it off eBay in December 2022. Even though it is not Graded, it still has a CGC Certification number that works on CGC's website: 4069829001. It was Rejected for Encapsulation by CGC due to Overhang on the outer cover. For further provenance, Adam Kubert posted my Remarque on his Instagram on November 28th, 2022! I currently have it matted & framed behind a UVA/UVB treated glass/polycarbonate. Shout-out to Thomas Powell for selling it to me! Social/Sharing |

So, the book is from 2001 and produced by Panini Germany. It was Remarqued & Signed by Adam Kubert at the October 2022 CGC In-house Private Signing. It's not encapsulated because it was Rejected for Encapsulation due to Overhang on the outer cover. Apparently, none of the Museum Editions produced by Panini (there are French and German ones) can not be Slabbed. Since the Signature and Remarque were both done in CGC's presence and Witnessed, there is still a CGC Certification Number! I thought that was pretty cool.
The Posca Paint Pens that Kubert used as the base layer of the Remarque really makes it pop and stand out! It's a very detailed Profile Sketch of Wolverine!

Great piece!
Thanks. It really is.
I got this Wolverine Remarque really early in my OA collecting career. I don't get many Remarques nowadays. I was really into them back then. Today, there is only a handful of artists I would still get one from, given the chance. Adam Kubert is one of those. I'm really glad I did. This Wolvy Profile Sketch is really nice!
