Description

When i was younger i always remember this old coppertone ad with the dog pulling down the little girls bathing suit. i wanted to take that idea and replace them with the creature and kay. I knew that steve was the perfect person to do this. no one draws monsters and babes like steve does. i went through catskill comics website and they were very helpfull in getting this done. once this arrived in the mail i was shocked by how perfect it was. it was more than i ever could have hoped for. Steve did such a great job that i don't think i will ever revisit this coppertone ad recreation again. thank you so much steve.

Steve told me he is a HUGE fan of the old classic monsters and wanted to keep this piece for himself! As with all of his commissioned pieces, I'm positive the scan does no justice to his incredible pencil work.

Love this piece. The Creature's stance looks how I imagine Steve would behave if he actually was the Creature.
